29 November 2022 Brussels, Belgium

We’ve kicked off the first BIC Africa Bootcamp in Brussels, Belgium with the business incubators and accelerators from the BIC Africa project countries Angola, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Somalia.

The BIC Africa European Bootcamp is designed to provide selected African business incubators BIs with an opportunity to meet, connect and exchange knowledge among themselves and with experts in incubation and innovative entrepreneurship from the EU|BIC community. The Bootcamp’s goal is to facilitate intercontinental connections between European and African business incubators, sharing experiences and strategies that can be harnessed by the incubators from the BIC Africa four target countries.

For the next two days, the selected business incubators from Angola, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Somalia will participate in the European Bootcamp. Therefore, through the well curated training to be facilitated by EU|BIC members, the business incubators representatives from Africa will learn about proven models and strategies for setting up, and running business incubators, also how to design quality incubation curricula to better support entrepreneurs in their programmes.
