BIC Africa met with the H2020 ICT-58 Family Projects

On Thursday, 14th of June 2022, BIC Africa met digitally with ICT family projects: DIGILOGICHUBiquitousAfriConEUmAkEENRICH in Africa and AEDIB|NET organised by HUBiquitous. The representatives of the projects delivered their latest updates in the form of presentations. The aim of the meeting was to get an overall picture of the recent development of the project as well as it was an excellent networking opportunity for the participants.

Robert Sanders Team Leader BIC Africa at EBN, presented the project objectives and progress in the last months where it is providing networking services to the incubation ecosystems in the region, to foster job creation and sustainable livelihoods. In the Country Projects selected Business Incubators will be supported to strengthen entrepreneurship and drive innovative startups in Angola, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Somalia.

At the end of the meeting, the participants has agreed to strengthen the cooperation among each other by organising further meetings together as well as discussing other opportunities for creating synergies between each other.
