We are thrilled to announce that the BIC Africa project has been selected as one of the top EU-AU Research and Innovation (R&I) Success Stories by the Strengthening the Europe-Africa Digital Ecosystem (SEADE). This recognition was awarded during the SEADE Summit in December 2024, held in Cape Town, South Africa.
The award ceremony was a significant milestone, recognising the contribution and achievements of the BIC Africa project in promoting business incubation and entrepreneurial growth across the five target African countries – Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Somalia and across the continent. Our success in this endeavour is thanks to the unwavering support of our partner, the European Union, whose contributions have been instrumental in making this project a reality.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the implementing partners of the Country Projects, both in Africa and Europe. Their support and collaboration have been pivotal in driving the success of business incubators and empowering entrepreneurs to drive innovative start-ups focusing on youth and women across Africa.
We are very proud of this achievement and remain committed to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development in Africa. This recognition serves as a testament to the collective efforts and dedication of everyone involved in the BIC Africa project.
