Call for proposals on digital and green innovations in Africa

The Digital and Green Innovation Joint Action aims at operationalising the advancement of the twin transition to a green and digital economy, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. This Call for Proposals will identify and support digital and green innovations (DGIs) that are ready to or transitioning to scale.

Eligibility
Only organisations who meet the following criteria are eligible for this Call for Proposals. Other proposals will be rejected. Your organisation must:
  • Be a legal person;
  • Be a public or a private non-profit actor;
  • Present a project to be implemented in 1 of the 20 African partner countries listed in the guidelines;
  • Have already successfully managed a grant equivalent to 40% of the amount requested;
  • Have financial statements certified by an independent body;
  • Not act as an intermediary.
Be aware that the “public actor” criteria does not apply to Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali. Only private non-profit actors can apply in these three countries.
