On the 9th of February 2024, BIC Africa participated in the Learn Africa initiative online session, organised by the Women for Africa Foundation in partnership with Instituto Tecnológico De Canarias, with a focus on Digital Transformation aimed at African women.

The main aim of the event was to share real cases of successful African digital entrepreneurs, who shared their firsthand experiences with the participants, to share their knowledge, to create connections and to encourage them to continue advancing in the digital entrepreneurship field.

The session started with a short presentation by ITC, followed by a presentation on BIC Africa and specifically the Acceleration Programme for Female Entrepreneurs by Krisztina Dax. Following, Eden Tadesse Eden Tadesse and Afomia Andualem, who are the BIC Africa acceleration programme for women entrepreneurs’ alumni from the 3rd cohort, presented their entrepreneurship journeys, their businesses and their experience of the BIC Africa acceleration programme.

The online session ended with a question-and-answer session from the participants. The event brought together 33 participants across Africa.
