BIC Africa is excited to announce the upcoming webinar within its Diaspora Entrepreneurship Webinar Series: Dialogue with African Diaspora Entrepreneurs in the Food Sector. Scheduled for the 30th of September 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm EAT, this webinar aims to highlight the journeys, challenges, and successes of entrepreneurs in the food sector. 

The webinar will illuminate the journeys, challenges, and triumphs of entrepreneurs within the food sector. Through presentations, and Q&A, participants will have the opportunity to gain insights from the entrepreneurs. The webinar will shed light on personal experiences and provide practical guidance. 

The webinar series will help the ‘budding’ African entrepreneurs to take their startups to the next level and create more start-ups, benefit from support of mentors and learn from success stories that come from diaspora communities. 

The webinar series, aimed at budding African entrepreneurs from BIC Africa’s target countries—Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Somalia—is open to participants across Sub-Saharan Africa. This series of six webinars aims to empower entrepreneurs by sharing success stories, mentorship, and practical advice from diaspora communities.
