The BIC Africa Online Training Programme for Women Entrepreneurs from Tanzania has successfully concluded on the 2nd of April 2026, marking the completion of an intensive and important online business supportprogramme for the 25 women entrepreneurs that participated from Tanzania.
Launched on 24 March 2026 the programme brought together a dynamic group of women leading businesses across diverse sectors, including agriculture, food, services, manufacturing, creative industries, digital technology, AI, health, tourism and education. Over the course of two weeks, participants engaged in a structured online training featuring six sessions each 2-hour long, designed to strengthen their business capabilities and investment readiness.
The programme delivered practical and targeted support in key areas such as business planning and development, financial management, access to finance, and investment readiness. In addition, participants benefited from two coaching sessions focused on leadership, storytelling, and the art of pitching equipping them with essential necessary skills to grow and scale their ventures sustainably long after the programme.

Beyond theoretical training, building on the previous five successful editions of BIC Africa Acceleration Programmes, the training fostered a collaborative environment for peer-to-peer learning and networking opportunities. Participants connected with fellow entrepreneurs, as well as local and international experts, gaining valuable insights and expanding their professional networks. Engagement with BIC Africa and the European Business Innovation Centre Network (EBN) further opened pathways for continued growth and collaboration.
Thank you for the well-organised and impactful training programme. I truly appreciate the effort, coordination, and quality of content delivered throughout the sessions.
The programme was insightful, practical, and highly relevant to my entrepreneurial journey. I especially valued the focus on real business challenges and the opportunity to learn alongside other inspiring women. I am grateful for the knowledge, support, and experience gained, and I look forward to applying these lessons in my business.
Thank you once again for your dedication and commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs.

The programme was delivered by a team of experienced women trainers from Africa and Europe, combining global expertise with local context to provide relevant, actionable guidance based on the entrepreneur’s local context. Their guidance not only strengthened participants’ business acumen but also served as an inspiration for what women entrepreneurs can achieve.
By the end of the programme, the 25 women entrepreneurs selected out of the 86 applications, successfully completed the training, enhancing their business leadership capacity and unlock their business growth potential to scale. Their initiative is expected to generate a ripple effect, supporting business growth, job creation, and greater economic inclusion within their communities. They are already operating across several important business sectors in Tanzania and have directly employed more than 145 people. Their impact is set to grow even further as their businesses continue to expand.
We congratulate the 25 women who successfully completed the programme. We can’t wait to see your leadership shine and your business continue to grow.
