BIC Africa is excited to announce the upcoming webinar within its Diaspora Entrepreneurship Webinar Series: Dialogue with African Diaspora Entrepreneurs in the IT Sector. Scheduled for the 25th of November 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm EAT, this webinar aims to highlight the journeys, challenges, and successes of entrepreneurs in the IT sector and will shed light on personal experiences and provide practical guidance.
In this session, through presentations, and Q&A, participants will gain firsthand insights, practical strategies, and expert guidance on launching and scaling successful startups. Discover how diaspora-led innovation is unlocking new opportunities across the global IT business landscape.
The webinar series will help the ‘budding’ African entrepreneurs to take their startups to the next level and create more start-ups, benefit from support of mentors and learn from success stories that come from diaspora communities.
The webinar series, aimed at budding African entrepreneurs from BIC Africa’s target countries—Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Somalia—is open to participants across Sub-Saharan Africa. This series of six webinars aims to empower entrepreneurs by sharing success stories, mentorship, and practical advice from diaspora communities.
